In Year 12 there are sessions on study skills, higher education, UCAS, interview skills, opportunities to meet with Old Alfredians currently at university and admission tutors from London Universities. Students are required to undertake a week of Work Experience in June after AS exams have finished We have a trained and highly experienced Careers Guidance and Higher Education Counsellor to help students reach decisions about their future. There is an established programme to support students with the UCAS application process, as well as applications to Art, Music and Drama schools and indeed progression into employment if that is the student’s wish. We have an up-to-date careers library with all the current higher education reference books.The following sessions/activities are devised and organised by Androulla Nicholas, the School’s Careers Advisor.
